This song started way back in 1967, originally sang by Frank Valli of the Four Seasons. It became a hit and was revived time and again by different artists such as Andy Williams, Boys Town Gang, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Engelbert Humperdinck, Barry Manilow, The Temptations, Matt Monroe, Gloria Gaynor, Muse, Lauryn Hill and many others. This version appeared in the 1993 movie soundtrack of the Coneheads. It was sang by Morten Harket who is the lead singer of the Norwegian synth-pop band A-Ha whose smash hits include "Take On Me"
